i guess i have painted this horse a million times. so, i wanted something familiar in my effort to go bigger with my watercolor paintings. it is difficult to get the water and color to behave in any kind of meaningful way particularly on a large surface!

It's a beauty, Vicki! You have such wonderful colors and shapes running through the horse's form. W/w IS harder in a larger format - the paint and water is literally everywhere, and there you are, trying to put some form into it!
I think I'll have to go out and hug Bruno. I just read your post about Twinkie, and another about Sandy Sandy's cat. Too much animal sadness ...
